In case you don't know, this is the logo used for Silicon Graphics machines.
I had the exciting opportunity to approach such beasts and participate
an animation project during my computer science studies (The very best
remembering from that particular year). If you take a careful look at how's
it's been conceived, you'll immediately notice it's a 3D shape that's made
of just one piece and that it covers every edge of a cube without passing
them twice (Eulerian path in english?). The point of view also emphasizes
the internal symmetry and adds up very much to the logo. Not in the typical
Escher's style, but definitely worth a look.
